The mystery of Ancient Magic is brought to life through good quality graphics, from the opening scene of the witch’s house in the woods, through to the symbol animation. The game is set in the dark evening light of the wood where there is an aura of paranormal activity and magic. During the free games the same background will be accompanied by dramatic and intensive music, that anticipates a forthcoming win.
The game’s theme also extends to the symbols on the reels. There are four higher value theme related symbols including a witch, a black raven, a magic potion and a scroll. The lower value symbols are represented by the royals A, K, Q, J and 10. The wild and scatter symbol is represented by a Ouija board.
Bonus Features
The most important feature within Ancient Magic is the free games. When a minimum of three scatter symbols land across the reels you will be awarded 10 free spins. At the commencement of the free spins a bonus symbol will be randomly selected and will count as a wild for the duration of the free spins. With any luck you will obtain one of the higher value symbols to act as the bonus wild. When the selected bonus symbol forms a win, it will then expand to cover the whole reel and may provide extra winning combinations. The card gamble is entered via the button with the card symbol. After picking a colour, the top card is revealed and if players have chosen correctly then the payout is doubled. Selecting the wrong colour results in the gamble being fully lost. Similar to the Ladder gamble, there is an option to collect half of the win or gamble win and then continue to gamble with the remainder.
